We constructed this string light with many commercial-grade features. A weatherproof E26 medium base socket protects the LED Edison-style filament bulb from rain. The power connector serves a similar function when linking to another string light. We made this LED string light using 18ga UL listed cable with a standard 3ft (39″) bulb spacing. It’s also available with 2ft socket spacing for greater amounts of lighting. Each socket is suspended from the main cord with a 3-inch hang, making it look as though it were floating.

This LED string light has a unique retro appearance due to its Edison-style filament bulbs. They have a color temperature of 2,700K to emulate older light bulbs and give your space a warm, nostalgic feel. You can also dim them with a magnetic dimmer for a gentler ambiance.

1. How to Dim Your LED String Lights

To dim your outdoor LED string light, you will need to have a dimmer switch installed and adjust the bulbs’ intensity from there. Many models also come with a remote, so you can brighten or dim your lights without going to the switch itself.
