This WAC Lighting FQ 2″ Shallow new construction housing is IC-rated and airtight, designed for direct insulation contact in installations with limited ceiling plenum depth. Its compact shallow profile makes it well-suited for tight overhead clearances where standard-depth housings will not fit. Compatible with both round and square FQ downlight trims, it supports easy coordination across mixed trim configurations. Universal mounting brackets and hanger bars are included for straightforward new construction installation.
