The RF signal will not penetrate water. So once they are installed in the fountain or pond you cannot change the programming unless you lift the fixture out of the water.

Great light source!
The LV308-BS underwater fountain light uses PAR36 sized bulbs behind a clear, heat resistant, tempered glass lens, providing you good lighting without any fear of cracks forming in the lens thus compromising your fixture. You can use the standard Halogen Bulbs or use the more efficient LED bulbs. LED bulbs are recommended because LED bulbs produce the same amount of light as a halogen bulb while using less than 80% of the power!
